As many of you know, I"m seeking an ultraportable laptop with XP or that can easily run XP. It should have a built-in keyboard, be rugged, have a good battery life, have a pcmcia card slot (even if it's in the docking station and the ability to use broadband internet. I don't know if I'm missing anything, but that's not the point of this post. I'm really interested in Macs, so much so that I can't type. I hear it has a built-in screenreader and that the speech is really good. But it's completely different from Windows, so can anyone tell me how? Can Voiceover handle Greek? Does Mac make ultraportable laptops? Can I use regular file types like mp3, rtf, txt etc? What about accessible programs? What about the internet? How does Voiceover handle these things? Can Voiceover handle Greek? How often do Macs crash? What will be the biggest hurdle for me, as a windows user, to cross? I just find it amazing that there's such a computer out there. I mean, I knew it had a screenreader, but I had no idea how extensive the support was on the newer machines! I was expected something like narrator! Ok, I really have to calm down now. Even if I don't buy a Mac, I absolutely must go to an Apple store and check one out, just to see. Thanks guys.
